CONFIDENT AND QUICK WINGER…

Talented and exciting winger Savinho joined City on a five-year contract in July 2024.

The Brazilian international moved to Manchester from Ligue 2 side Troyes.

But, SAVINHO’s most recent campaign saw him help La Liga outfit Girona reach the UEFA Champions League for the first time in the Club’s history following a season-long loan in Spain.

SAVINHO is a skilful, pacey and dangerous winger that opposing defenders often find hard to handle. He can play either side of a nine but he spent the past season working the left flank.

The first summer signing ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, SAVINHO began learning his trade with Atletico Mineiro who handed him his senior debut aged 16.

In 2022, Savinho joined Troyes and was then sent out on loan to Dutch club PSV Eindhoven where he mixed between the Under-21s and senior squad.

For the 2023/24 season, Troyes sent SAVINHO out on loan for a second time, this time to La Liga’s Girona.

It was in the Spanish top-flight where he really shone. SAVINHO flaunted his dribbling capability. He completed 104 dribbles across the season, 18 more than any other player in the league.

Come the conclusion of the season, he scored 11 goals and contributed 10 assists as he aided in Girona’s highest-ever league finish, third.

And it was his quick development over the past season that saw SAVINHO earn a senior call-up to the Brazil national team.

He made his senior debut in Brazil’s 1-0 win over England and scored his first goal for his country in Brazil’s 4-1 win over Paraguay at the 2024 Copa America.

Now, SAVINHO will be looking to help Guadolar side push for an unprecedent fifth successive Premier League title in the 2024/25 season
