The Reds are on a six-game winning run in all competitions, but Sunday’s clash will be anything but a walk in the park for Arne Slot’s troops. Both Federico Chiesa and Harvey Elliott are major doubts, while Caoimhin Kelleher should start in goal in Alisson Becker’s absence. The Blues, on the other hand, failed to turn their dominance into victory in a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest. 

Chelsea, though, are likely to stick to their attacking style of play and given Liverpool’s offensive potential, a high-scoring affair is on the horizon. Left-back Marc Cucurella serves a one-game ban, while both Wesley Fofana and Reece James remain on the sidelines with injuries. In their last meeting at Anfield Liverpool recorded a thrilling 4-1 win over Chelsea and yet another goals galore is on the cards.
