Following a hard-fought win over Leganes in a small Madrid derby, Atletico Madrid will look to return to winning ways in the Champions League when they face Lille on Wednesday. Los Rojiblancos failed to impress in a 4-0 loss to Benfica, but they are surely capable of matching les Dogues at Riyadh Air Metropolitano. Both Julian Alvarez and Rodrigo de Paul should be recalled to the starting XI, while defender Clement Lenglet is a major doubt after limping off with injury in the last Primera Division game. 

Lille, on the other hand, are likely to adopt a defence-minded approach in this clash, but preventing Alexander Sorloth and Co. from finding the net at “Metropolitano” is easier said than done. Les Dogues did beat Real Madrid last time out, but given their difficulties on the road in the elite competition, home win should be considered. Midfielder Angel Gomes is back from suspension for the visiting side.
