Les Tricolores quickly bounced back from a heart-breaking loss to Italy and they are seen as hot favourites to win Thursday’s game as well. Real Madrid ace Kylian Mbappe will be rested in the October fixtures, while Atletico Madrid ace Antoine Griezmann has retired from international football. Chelsea striker Christopher Nkunku returns to the squad. 

Israel, on the other hand, still welcome they rivals on neutral location and given their poor displays in back-to-back losses to Belgium and Italy, anything but a routine away win would be a big surprise. To make things even worse for the home side, pacey Leeds United winger Manor Solomon misses out with injury. In their last meeting in a competitive match, the two sides played out a 1-1 draw, but away win should be considered this time out.
